Larry Miller Larry Miller of Palestine, Illinois is most often characterized by his tag-line "Remembering the vanishing American scene." after a 30 year career as a Public School Administrator, he switched gears and has been a full time painter for the past 18 years. Larry's personal style of combining pen and ink with watercolor is self-taught through lots of trial and error. While he is known for his painting of barns and old buildings, they aren't his primary purpose. As an artist, Larry is fascinated with attempting to recreate the old wood, peeling paint, weathered brick and rusty metal which is most frequently found on the rapidly disappearing farm and and small town commercial architecture.
