Catherine S. Cardinal Catherine was born in Amarillo, Texas. She has lived most of her life in the small river town of Vincennes in southwest Indiana. There she met her husband and raised their children and is a grandmother. Her books include: The Button Box; a collection of short stories, Mud Grape Pie; a children's novel, Charlotte Pug (The Walnut War); a girl's power story The Little Brown House; happenings in and around the little brown house. She has written a newsletter, "The Herbalist,: which she incorporated in her small herb plant business and published in local newspapers. Her latest short story is "Laura's Main Street." Catherines reads her children's books and grown-up short stories to area schools and adult organizations. She recently read from "The Little Brown House at First Friday on November 7 at Blue Moon Gallery & Studio
