Elizabeth Thurston
 


Elizabeth began painting oils when she was 17 from her home in Kokomo Indiana. Later she began doing acrylics, water color, charcoals, mixed media, and pen and ink drawings. She currently resides in Vincennes and has had her art on display in Princeton and at the Van Eaton Building and The Old State Bank here in Vincennes.

Elizabeth  enjoys crocheting and has crocheted a bedspread for her Mother. She is currently making quilts of all kinds including ‘Art Quilts’ and will soon be doing ‘Fiber Art Quilts’ wall hangings. Elizabeth also works with clay and loves to make clay Snowmen for herself; she has a series of clay figure’s called ‘Nature’s Child’.
